Songs Dennis Kolen selected for Lorrainville album

Two songs by Dennis Kolen are selected for the new Lorrainville album ‘Desire the Reckless’. Recordings took place in Kampen in the first two weeks of July.

The songs written by Dennis Kolen are titled ‘Win some, lose some‘ and ‘It’s not a crime’. In total Lorrainville recorded 16 songs.

Lorrainville started with a game on Facebook. Producer Guido Aalbers posted a photo of a non-existing album. After receiving a lot of positive response he decided that the album deserved an actual release. Debut album ‘You May Never Know What Happiness Is’ came out in 2011.

Lorrainville’s second album will be release in the end of October.

The band did a concert in Kampen on Sunday 13 July. In the fall they will do three more shows:

29 October – Bitterzoet, Amsterdam
31 October – Tivoli De Helling, Utrecht (CD-release)
2 November – Hedon, Zwolle
